As we approach the 4th Industrial Revolution, preparation is all – and where better to prepare for this exciting future than in our state of the art ICT suite at Tameside College; The Centre of Excellence in Computing and IT. Throughout this full time, 2-year study programme (completing the HNC qualification in year one and the HND in year 2), you will establish a comprehensive digital strategy to equip you with the right skills for industry and future-proof your employment opportunities for a workforce in the Global future. You will engage in a variety of innovative Information Technology and Computing topics which ideal for students who wish to further their studies at higher levels or begin a career in a growth industry which involves jobs such as social media managers, coders and developers plus network engineers. This 2-year course is a full-time programme which comprises of 16 modules studied over 2 years. You will learn through a variety of teaching methods which will aim to meet the needs of each individual and accommodate different learning styles for example, case studies, assessments, group work, practical work, projects, extended writing and interactive activities. Assessment method
